Welcome to the first LINXS Environment and Climate Theme kickoff!

Where: Workshop room on the 5th floor at LINXS (Scheelevägen 19, Lund)
Registration info: Please register latest the afternoon of 19/10 if you want lunch on Monday. After that we cannot guarantee lunch.

Description
The workshop aims to act as the opening activity of the newly established Theme, Environment and Climate. The program includes short presentations on the scope of the Theme and the importance of environment and climate challenges in the research agenda of Lund University and MAX IV. After the presentation an open discussion will follow aiming to help the participants to discover common goals and overlapping research interests and to plan together activities during the three years of the Theme. We hope that the workshop will will attract other scientist interested in the Theme activities. The symposium is open for registration to all scientists.

9:40–10:00 Previous experiences on running a Theme (Anna Stradner, Lund University)
10:00–10:20 Coffee break
10:20–12:00 Open discussion on the aims and activities of the Theme during the three years and beyond

The kickoff is free of charge, but no-shows will be charged a fee of 200 SEK.
During our events we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event. Some webinars are recorded to be used for educational purposes in the LINXS website.
