Welcome to this online workshop on how to plan and write a successful beamtime application! The event is organised by the Heritage Science theme and open to anyone interested in using X-ray and neutron techniques in their research.

For who? The workshop is open to BSc, MSc and PhD students, as well researchers from the academic and industrial sectors!

Description:

In this half day workshop we will illustrate some possible Ideas for heritage science proposals using X-ray and neutron-based techniques. Then we will focus on the most relevant aspects related to writing a well-conceived proposal to obtain beamtime access in large scale infrastructures/facilities. In particular, this will be done through examples of successful stories.
