Invitation to the  2nd Camurus Lipid Research Foundation Prize Symposium, at Hypoteket Kyrkogatan 13, Lund

This year’s program will feature the 2019 awardee Professor Erich Sacknmann, who will give a presentation entitled “Physical basis of cell membrane sculpturing by selective lipid protein crosstalk.” Introductory talks will be given by Professor Joachim Rädler, LMU – Munich (Lipid based self-organization at the outset of biological physics) and Professor Motomu Tanaka, University of Heidelberg (Erich Sackmann: inspiration to new scientific and technical applications). Additional talks will be given by the 2019 Fellowship Awardee Dr. Gerd Schroeder-Turk (Nature's mysterious mazes: Bicontinuous geometries in biological organisms) and the Junior Prize Awardee Dr. Jenny Andersson, Lund University (Self-assembly in lung surfactant systems). We are looking forward to welcoming you to an exciting and stimulating afternoon. Coffee will be served and the public part of the ceremony will be concluded by a reception.
