Former Board member

Olof Karis is the head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala university where he is also a professor in experimental physics. His research concerns basic understanding of magnetic properties and how we can manipulate them on very short timescales. He uses both x-rays and neutrons for his research. He is also involved in instrumentation projects for e.g. MAX IV.
