LINXS welcomes you to a talk by archaeologist and LINXS fellow Björn Nilsson on the future of archaeology and ancient history. The lecture will highlight how the use of synchrotron methods can shed new knowledge on our ancient past. Björn Nilsson will illustrate and give examples of how these research methods make way for new research questions and new knowledge on how we lived in the past.

The event will be held in Swedish.

The event is organised by LINXS, and is part of Lund University’s Future Week, which runs from 12-18 October. The ambition of Future Week is to highlight the latest and most timely research from Lund University. The week is targeted at members of the public, students, industry, societal organisaions, and authorities who are interested in the most important future issues of our time.
