Registration and Poster submission open!
Join us for the LEAPS Battery research forum in Lund (21–23 January 2026) to discuss the “Future of Batteries & Synchrotrons: Pushing boundaries”.
This is the third instalment after successfully establishing the LEAPS Battery landscape of facilities & users (Barcelona 2024) and exploring industry connections and applications (Berlin 2025).
When: 21–23 January 2026, lunch to lunch
Where: LINXS @ the Loop, Lund, Sweden
Poster submission open until: 15 December 2025 (as long as space permits)
Registration deadline: 7 January 2026
The 37th MAX IV User Meeting will take place at the Loop on 19–21 January 2026.
about
This time, we will focus on novel chemistries and method development for material characterizations at synchrotrons. Sessions will cover complementary characterization tools as well. We will follow up on the outcome of our previous sessions and look at options for future projects. As before, we will allow ample time for discussions in a truly collaborative setting and visit the battery research instruments at MAX IV.
We invite contributed talks and posters from users, facility researchers, and industry, please register your abstract before the deadline, 17 November 2025. We will offer travel grants to young scientists (until two years after PhD) who present a talk or poster.
