Join us for a workshop on time-resolved quasielastic neutron scattering (TR-QENS). The event will bring together beamline scientists, expert users, and researchers interested in current and future applications of TR-QENS experiments and data analysis.
When: Friday 20 November 2026, 13:30–16:30 (CET)
Where: LINXS (The Loop, 3rd floor, Rydbergs torg 4, Lund)
Contact: For questions regarding the scientific programme, please contact Benedetta Rosi benedetta.rosi@ess.eu or Felix Roosen-Runge felix.roosen-runge@chem.lu.se. For practical questions about the venue, please contact Josefin Martell josefin.martell@gmail.com
About
As a short satellite following the ESS-ILL 2026 User Meeting, the workshop on time-resolved quasielastic neutron scattering (TR-QENS) aims to provide scientific perspectives on current and future topics of research where TR-QENS can provide relevant information.
We hope to bring relevant activities in the community into a common informal discussion on challenges and community synergies related to TR-QENS experiments and data analysis, linking beamline scientists to expert users, as well as showcasing TR-QENS for interested new users.
The event is part of the LINXS theme “Soft Matter in Life” (SMILE), which aims to translate soft matter approaches into life science.
If you are interested in contributing to the meeting with a short talk, or have any other related question, please feel free to reach out to the organisers Benedetta Rosi or Felix Roosen-Runge.
