HALOS SYMPOSIUM – How to move life science research and innovation forward with macro-regional unique resources

HALOS and Medicon Valley Alliance welcome you to participate in a half-day symposium with presentations and discussions on how to take advantage of the large scale research infrastructures such as MAX IV and ESS.

This event is for you who are curious about how to use, or combine, worksflows, including the research and innovation resources in the Öresund-Hamburg region. During the symposium presentations of examples from Hanseatic League of Science (HALOS), will be highlighted as well as experiences and results from Life Science projects. We will present examples from the life science sector using techniques you want to learn about but perhaps have not yet started to use. We will also present workflows from sample preparation all the way to data analysis and visualisation connecting key competence groups and large-scale research infrastructures.

You will leave the symposium with increased awareness and a new set of contacts to develop your project in Life Science and Innovation. During the meeting you will get the chance to express your opinion, e.g. about challenges for the Life Science sector connected to the use of the large scale research infrastructures.

With access to the right contacts and knowledge you will not need to recruit another expert to your team nor buy a new instrument – join this symposium and learn how to utilize the unique resources in the Öresund-Hamburg area.

Date: Monday the 31st of January, 2022
Time: 12.30 – 17.00
Venue: Auditorium, Arne Jacobsens Allé 13, DK-2300 Copenhagen S

The event will be interactive and when signing up for the event you can fill in your requests by describing a scientific question, a challenge or need related to product development or any other specific needs or requests. Our HALOS expert panel will then discuss and, if suitable for the techniques offered by the HALOS research infrastructures, provide a suggested workflow.
