Join us for the COMMONS Early-Career Day, to connect with peers from Sweden, Denmark and beyond in an informal and friendly setting!

Limitations: The event can accommodate up to 50 participants on the first-come first-served basis. We will keep a reserve list in case of cancellations.
About:
The event aims to bring together early-career researchers and create a space to share research experiences, the failures and challenges associated with it- how we’ve bounced back, what we've learned, or even where we still feel stuck. The focus is on normalising the setbacks that are part of doing science and finding support and perspective from each other's stories. The event will be held without the presence of any senior researchers, hence offering participants an opportunity to interact and present their thoughts in an informal setting.
The main highlights include “feedback talks": where researchers present on topics looking for constructive inputs, and a session on "failed experiments", a platform to talk about unsuccessful experiments, rejected proposals, or declined manuscripts and share their insights. The vision of the COMMONS excellence center is dedicated to unifying our understanding of the physicochemical processes essential to cellular membranes and biomolecular function. Hence we highly encourage researchers in these and related disciplines to participate in the event.

During our events we sometimes take photographs and short film clips to profile our activities. Please let us know if you don’t want to be in any photos/films before we start the event. Some webinars are recorded to be used for educational purposes in the LINXS website.
