We extend a warm welcome to Klara Khanzadyan and Ladan Ahmadi, our two new LINXS interns. They will be working at LINXS for four months, supporting our events, administration, and communications activities.

What are your backgrounds?

Ladan: I studied Tourism Management and later completed an MBA, but my career has taken me beyond tourism. I’ve worked in cruise operations, marketing, and international programmes, often bringing people together, coordinating details, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. These experiences have taught me how planning and communication turn ideas into results. At LINXS, I’m building on that experience while discovering a new professional field.

Klara: I have a background in design and many years of professional experience. Over time, I became interested in technology and digital design, which led me to explore UX/UI design, digital communication, and marketing.

I have also gained experience in event coordination and administration. Most recently, I worked at MAX IV Laboratory, supporting the organisation of the MEDSI2025 conference. It was a great experience, and I really enjoyed working with an international community of engineers, scientists, researchers, and other participants.

How would you like to contribute to LINXS?

Klara: I would love to support the LINXS team in its daily work, help organise events and workshops, and contribute to communication and digital content. I’m also happy to share ideas and help make information clear and accessible to others.

At the same time, I’m excited to learn more about the scientific community and the interesting work happening at LINXS.

Ladan: I’d like to help turn ideas into well-organised activities, make information clear and accessible, and create opportunities for people to connect and share knowledge. I enjoy the work behind the scenes that helps things run smoothly. At the same time, LINXS is giving me the chance to explore new skills and interests. I’m excited to learn how people from different scientific disciplines work together and exchange ideas. I see this experience as an opportunity to grow, discover new interests, and perhaps even find a new direction in my career.

What skills are you bringing to LINXS?

Ladan: I bring a practical approach to coordination, problem-solving, and communication. Working in environments where plans change and many things happen at once has taught me to stay calm, adapt, pay attention to detail, and focus on solutions. I enjoy turning ideas into practical outcomes, working with different people, and making information clear and accessible. I also value listening, learning from others, and staying open to different perspectives.

Klara: I bring a mix of creative, digital, communication, and organisational skills. I enjoy working with people, learning new things, and finding practical solutions. I’m always happy to take on new challenges and develop my skills.
