Prof. Kursula is the Scientific Director of the BiSS core facility at the University of Bergen, a member of the MAX IV Programme Advisory Committee, and a Steering Committee member of NordStruct. His expertise covers sample preparation workflows, core facilities, structural biology, and the use of synchrotron and neutron sources. He was a guest scientist at LINXS in 2025.
