Dr. Christopher Söderberg has been working with structural biology since 2008 when he started his PhD education. His main expertise today is SAXS, but he started out working with protein X-ray crystallography. He worked at MAX-Lab and MAX IV between 2013 and 2017, at beamlines I911-4 and CoSAXS, after which he moved to RISE between 2018 and 2026 and a VR-funded LSRI initiative to guide industry to e.g. MAX IV and similar facilities around Europe. There he worked with industry in life science, helping them primarily to apply SAXS in their research and development. He is now back at MAX IV working in the Industrial Relations Office, primarily connected to the CoSAXS beamline, but also coordinating industry projects at BioMAX.
