LINXS Science Day 2026: a new epoch for large science at Science Village

Welcome to LINXS Science Day!

What scientific impact can be achieved through the use of X-ray and neutron techniques? LINXS Science Day will present breakthroughs in quantum materials, heritage science, semiconductors, life science, chemical biology, and the deformation and flow of materials.

Each of LINXS’ ten themes will present during the day, focusing on how X-ray and neutron techniques have enabled new research results, questions, and methods.

The day will end with an interactive session including different demo sessions to demonstrate LINXS’ new workstations. Each workstation is equipped with software for analysing data from imaging, diffraction, scattering, and microscopy experiments. Researchers, especially early-careers, are welcome to bring a poster.

LINXS Science Day is open to anyone with an interest in what is going on at LINXS and the broader neutron and X-ray science community.

When: 11 June 2026, 09:00-15:00
Where: LINXS (The Loop, Rydbergs torg 4, Lund) and via Zoom
