Dr. Björn Walse is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of SARomics Biostructures AB, a company providing structural biology and early drug discovery services. He has over 30 years of drug discovery and research management experience with a special interest in early hit finding. Before establishing SARomics Biostructures, Dr. Walse served as head of structural chemistry at Active Biotech AB, where he was responsible for building and running the structural chemistry platform. Dr. Walse obtained his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Lund University 1997 and performed postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley. He also holds the title as Assoc. Prof of Molecular Biophysics at Lund University since 2005.
