Pandemics and Alertness member WG2 (Fighting the virus), LINXS Fellow
Soft Materials Group Manager, CoSAXS beamline coordinator, MAX IV Laboratory, Lund University, Lund, Sweden
Ann Terry has broad experience in the use of small and wide angle scattering (both X-rays and neutrons) in solution scattering, protein aggregation, drug delivery, and soft matter. This has been a focus of her career from her PhD and a postdoc in Polymer Physics at Bristol University, via a postdoc fellowship and beamline scientist position at the Materials Science beamline, ID11, European Synchrotron Radiation Facility, as a SANS instrument scientist at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Facility, to being a Researcher at the CoSAXS beamline, MAX IV. She is the Group Manager for Soft Materials (formerly the Scattering and Diffraction Group) at MAX IV. A major theme to her recent research has been the use of advanced techniques in understanding drug delivery systems and the formulation and processing of biologics.
