Dr. Heather Sullivan is a Research Engineer at the Lund Protein Production Platform (LP3), Department of Biology, Lund University, and Protein Production Sweden (PPS). Her work focuses on recombinant protein expression systems, with particular expertise in baculovirus-mediated expression in insect cells as well as bacterial (E. coli) systems. She contributes to the development, implementation, and optimisation of protein production and purification workflows for a broad range of recombinant proteins used in academic research. With a background in life science and research infrastructure, Dr Sullivan works in international and collaborative academic environments. Her work contributes to the production of high-quality protein reagents and materials that enable biophysical, biochemical, and structural studies.
