Mikael Mattsson holds a PhD in microbiology and a MSc in molecular biology from Lund university. Dr Mattsson has spent most of his career in industry (2000-2024); 18 years working with antibody drug discovery in the biotech industry (BioInvent) and 6 years with quality control20 of small-molecule drugs in the pharma industry (APL). Dr Mattsson has extensive experience in building and leading teams in positions as manager or director. In 2024 he joined SciLifeLab and the department of Immunotechnology at Lund University.
